A light lunch was provided for participants following presentations.  The lunch break also provided an opportunity for participants to see alternative fueled vehicles displayed in the parking lot.  Additionally participants were able to view displays on tables in the lunch area and talk to representatives at the displays.  Another very important aspect of this time was the ability for participants to talk to each other and the resulting synergy cultivated several potential regional projects directed toward increasing use of alternative fuels while improving environmental impact of energy consumption.

Table talk discussions, lead by recognized knowledgeable facilitators, followed the lunch period.  These discussion groups centered around specific topics and lasted a fixed period of time after which people were able to move to other tables to participate different discussion groups.  This activity provided the ability to draw together individuals with specific common interests and encouraged their working together on future projects.

Conclusion:  This event was found to be extremely effective based upon comments received from many participants and the flurry of emails received thanking the coalition for providing the event.  Information provided and opportunities for synergistic development of future projects will have a positive impact in regional increased use of alternative fuels.
